Intrepid walkers Jordan Eva and David Atthowe will be taking on a mammoth walk around the entire county to promote Norfolk’s unique dialect, food, history, and culture whilst fundraising for Norwich-based charity Musical Keys.
The fundraising project, named Walking Norfolk, will promote our wonderful county whilst bringing the joy of arts to disabled and disadvantaged youth. Jordan Eva and walking partner David Atthowe are planning to walk all the way around Norfolk, a 200 mile journey that will take 20 days, finishing on 5th November.
Jordan and David, known as Nomadic Lion, have completed similar walks all over the world, including Borneo and Malaysia, and have achieved great success in bringing attention to the far-flung, the unusual and the undiscovered.
The Nomadic Lion boys will be taking the time to explore our county’s unique delights, and using the Nomadic Lion website and social media pages to publicise the hidden and undiscovered gems of Norfolk. The walk is a unique way to promote the county’s unique dialect, food, history and culture. The Nomadic Lion team will be walking slowly from village to village, highlighting local sights of interest, stories, businesses, and meeting little known local heroes.
The walk benefits Norwich charity Musical Keys, which offers music and creative opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged people across the county.
