Hemsby Methodist Church’s annual Christmas Tree and Flower Festival has been a rousing success.
Over 200 Christmas trees, made from such diverse materials as brass, glass, metal and wood, were on display as part of the Methodist Church Hemsby celebrations.
In addition to the handcrafted Christmas trees, flowers were use to create scenes from popular carols, much to the delight of everybody who attended the festival.
The Hemsby Methodist Church was originally built in 1879, and has stood in its place on the corner of Taylors Loke, Martham Road and Waters Lane, welcoming worshippers ever since. For those who haven’t visited the church before, it can be found near the village hall and playing field. Hemsby Methodist Church is part of the Martham Methodist Circuit, and the organisation of events such as the Christmas Tree and Flower Festival is part of what makes this such an enduring network.
Next year’s festival promises to be even bigger and brighter, so make a note now, and don’t miss out.
