“How to get to Hemsby by train” is a common question that people look up online. In basic terms how you get there depends on where you are coming from.
For example a lot of people want to come down to Hemsby for the local music festivals, sometimes from outside the UK. In simple terms the first thing to do is head to Norwich. From the South this can be via London Liverpool Street heading toward Norwich or from the North you can change via Peterborough and then change to get to Norwich.
From Norwich you can then get the bus to Great Yarmouth (which takes approximately 35 minutes). From there change at the Market Gates station to get to Hemsby (buses to Hemsby from here are once every 15 minutes). If you want to go direct from Norwich to Hemsby a taxi is around £65.
So while there may be a couple of changes involved it is relatively simple to get to Hemsby with only a couple of changes via Norwich.
