Rock and Roll nights in Hemsby

Dates have been announced for the latest Rock and Roll weekender in Hemsby

For fans of classic Rock and Roll, performers from across the world will visit the Seacroft Holiday site in Hemsby, between the 13th and 15th of May.

The very first of these events was held at the Pontins Holiday Centre, Hemsby in 1988. Back then, Louisiana rockabilly musician Joe Clay headlined the event, along with North Carolina’s Mickey Hawkes, who sadly passed away just months after the event.

This years event sees Narvel Felts as the headline act. Felts from Arkansas, US achieved No1 and No2 in Canada and the United States respectively, in the 1970’s. Supporting him is Clyde Stacy and John D Levan from the United States and Roy Young from the UK, as well as several over rock and roll acts.

This year will be the 46th time that Hemsby has hosted the rock and roll festival. With people coming from all over the UK, the event is great for the town of Hemsby.

The Norfolk coast will get ready to rock and roll this summer.
